The afterglow of Michigan's 2nd USAPA sanctioned tournament, is a good time to express the appreciation the Great Lakes Pickleball players feel toward the community of players in the Regions across the USA and Canada.

The Great Lakes Region thanks our Pickleball Pioneers! This quote was included in the 2009 Great Lakes Region Regionalization Plan: "The Region consists of nine Midwestern states around the Great Lakes and the province of Ontario. We have 37 Ambassadors, many of whom experienced Pickleball during winter stays in Arizona or Florida. We are all indebted to these pioneers who have brought Pickleball to the Great Lakes Region and promoted its growth locally"
