Middletown Pickleball team finishes strong in Indiana:
"Senior Pickleball team wins five medals
CARMEL, Ind. — Middletown-area pickleball athletes claimed three gold medals and a pair of bronze at the Indiana Senior Games, held June 19-20 at Carmel High School.
Stanley Volkens earned gold in the 80-84 age group in singles. He and Joann Huggins teamed up to win the 75-79 age group title in mixed doubles.
Cheryl Wyatt and Nancy Darling won gold in the 50-54 women’s doubles competition, and Wyatt finished third in the 50-54 women’s singles event.
Middletown’s Norm Moon paired with Doug Lear of El Centro, Calif., to place third in the 60-64 men’s doubles tournament.

If you are an adult (18+) and you already know how to play pickleball, then come to Lions Park on Tuesdays/Thursdays from 9 am-Noon this summer and play. The cost is only $1.

If you are not sure how to play Pickleball, check out one of the FREE lessons. You do not need to pre-register, just show up and learn how to to play this fascinating new sport. All equipment including paddles and balls will be supplied during the lesson time. Please wear your tennis shoes.
